16A What's Your Secret Sauce?

Five ways in which I have human capital that is truly unique.
1.  I'm very neat and organized:  I make my bed every day, fold my clothes neatly, keep a planner, and am concerned with aesthetics.  This part of me speaks to my creative side.  Everything must look a certain way.
2.  I'm very thorough with my work:  Sometimes I take longer to finish a task because I am a perfectionist and want to make sure that it's just right.
3.  I have excellent writing and grammar skills:  I was a big reader when I was little, which gifted me with a big vocabulary and natural talent to write well.
4.  I am extremely loyal and reliable: If someone asks me to do something for them, I will always make sure it gets done in a timely manner because I don't want to let anyone down.
5.  I put others before myself:  This can prove to be more of a flaw than an asset, because sometimes I am so much of a people-pleaser that I end up unhappy.  Sometimes, I need to learn how to say "no."

A lot of the points my friends and family made were the same strengths I saw in myself.  For example, organization, intellect, creativity, and interpersonal skills.  However, they noticed some other things that I didn't notice about myself.  For example, the ability to be myself and be non-conformist.  I would add this to my list.

  1. Hi Julianna! Great post! I think based off your analysis of yourself and what your peers said about you makes me get the impression you’re a very organized, lowkey, help type of girl. You like things organized and done a specific way and I can totally relate to that because I like things a certain way as well! It’s so cool to read about other people and learn something new through this assignment! Great Post!

  2. Hi Julianna!

Over the past few months of following your blogs and this idea you've been pursuing, I have to say, great job! I like your point when you mention that you are a perfectionist, causing you to take longer to finish tasks you care about. This caught my attention because I am this way too.
Keep up the good work and stay safe during this time!

  3. Hi Julianna, thanks for sharing. I definitely noticed that many of your family and friends spoke very highly of your interpersonal skills and intellect. These are skills that will definitely be useful for being a successful entrepreneur. I also think these are skills that are easier to notice in yourself. Things like being yourself and being a non-conformist are things that I believe we would tend to notice less in ourselves as they aren't as explicit of skills.
